TRAILS
While John Huff and I were out GPS mapping the trails I snapped a few pictures.

This is the large parking area at the Trail Head on Back Lake Road in Pittsburg, NH. There is at least enough parking for 75 or more trucks and trailers. Remember the speed limit for all motorized vehicles in the parking area is 15 M.P.H.!

This is the entry from the trail head parking area to the club's trail system.

This is the Perry Stream covered bridge at the end of the Philbrook Road trail. No ATVs are permitted on River Road at this time.

Here is John on one of the club's woods trails. There are areas of this trail that are very tight and where you also need to use 4 wheel drive and low range. This particular area is one of the few parts of this trail that is flat, straight and fairly open.

This is a view of Harris Pond taken from the overlook picnic area at the end of the Harris Pond Road trail.

This is a view from the trail over Cowen Hill looking at Magalloway Mountain and a small part of the First Connecticut Lake. This trail definately needs 4WD and low range to drive up some steep hills and craw over many rock out croppings.

This is one of the easy sections of the trail over Cowen Hill.

There are many trails such as this one in the GNWR trail system. Easy trails for a fun family ride on a beautiful summer day.
I will be taking more pictures soon of some of the other trails. The club trails run from the very tight woods trails to wide smooth gravel roads.
